From the overall vision we have identified three Strategic Objectives (SO1...3)
SO1 To support vulnerable and marginalised communities and groups
SO2 To develop sustainable solutions to these groups
SO3 To provide excellent services.
Supporting the achievement of these strategic objectives are five medium term Main Policy Priorities (MPP1...5)
• MPP1 to develop and support the socio-economic well-being of marginalised and vulnerable communities and groups.
• MPP2 to identify and encourage the use of eco-friendly solutions to problems that would preserve the natural environment.
• MPP3 to develop sustainable solutions in the form of programmes, projects, tools and advices, to social and environmental groupings
• MPP4 to provide excellent community services based on sponsors’ requirements
• MPP5 to apply ethical rules in all activities
The strategic objectives and main policy proirities are driven by the ten themes and categorised into three sub-headings, which represent the key attributes of the Charity Solutions, as agreed by the communities and trustees, and the attributes which we aim to promote to Ghana and the wider world. These themes are:

Measuring our success
Supporting each of our strategic objectives is a number of performances outcome measures. These outcome measures focused primarily on the satisfaction of our customers to be ascertained through the SIL Charity Solutions Community Surveys (CSCS) to take place every year. The best value performance indicator set provides performance information in support of our third strategic objective SO3 - to provide excellent services. Performance against these indicators is available one year after operations have started. A progress report against this policy framework is presented to the Charity Solutions Trustees on a six monthly basis and is publicly made available. Individual service programmes are responsible for the specific policy framework and actions under each of the strategic objectives and is held accountable for performance in respect of these.
